As you know, our goal this year through our Walk with the Heart of a Child event is to raise $110,000.00 ~ and, TOGETHER, we can do it!

But, we can’t do it without you! So, beginning tonight, whoever raises the most donations ~ total dollars, as an individual ~ for Walk with the Heart of a Child between now and Friday, February 24th (minimum $100.00) will win a fabulous Kindle Touch! In addition, all those individuals who raise $100 or more between now and Friday, February 24th will be entered into a drawing and 2 of these amazing supporters will each win a $50 Visa Gift Card! All 3 awards ~ To be announced at the Walk on Saturday, February 25th at Fashion Show Mall.  You do not need to be present at the Walk in order to win.

But the excitement does not stop there! For all of you who would like to help, but can’t attend our Walk, register as a Virtual Walker by Saturday, February 25, 2012 – for just $15.00! All registered Virtual Walkers will be entered into a drawing to win a $50.00 Visa Gift Card! The winning Virtual Walker will be notified the week of February 27, 2012.

♥ $15 buys a family of four lunch at the hospital.

♥ $25 provides an uninsured child with necessary medications.

♥ $30 gives a Camp Mend-a-Heart camper a birthday gift at the birthday party.

♥ $40 buys a camper arts and craft supplies at Camp Mend-a-Heart.

♥ $60 allows parents to get to a child’s appointments via the bus.

♥ $90 supplies a heart child with diapers for up to three months.

♥ $150 provides a camper and their family FUN at the Camp Carnival.

♥ $200 helps feed a family of five for a month.

♥ $400 purchases airfare for a parent and child for surgery appointments.

♥ $500 sends a junior camper to Camp Mend-a-Heart.

♥ $1,000 sends a teen camper to Camp Mend-a-Heart.

The Mrs. Nevada – America Pageant is taking place on February 26, 2012.  Candidate, Mrs. Las Vegas Francine Sanchez (Heart Mom and CHF Board Member), has chosen to bring attention and funding to Congenital Heart Defects as her platform!  Part of the pageant includes a People’s Choice Award.  Vote for Francine Sanchez and if she wins, the proceeds will benefit Children’s Heart Foundation!  Thank you Francine ~ you have our support and best wishes!
